In class November 1, the teams that didn't argue the Brown vs Board of Education case had to present an EOTO. The first team focused on Bloody Sunday, Four Little Girls, and Three Civil Workers Murdered in Mississippi 1964. I'm going to focus on one event from each team that stood out me, Four Little Girls. September 16, 1963 four little girls lives were taken from a bombing at a church in Birmingham, Alabama, caused by the KKK. The four little girls were, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson, and Carol Denis McNair, I think these four girls symbolize the destructiveness and lack of humanity the KKK truly demonstrated. The second EOTO team focused on The March on Washington, Freedom Rides, Things Get Violent, and the Greensboro Sit-In. Freedom rides were focused on the segregation of black buses and deeming them unconstitutional. The freedom rides gained international attention and were successful.
